PolioPlus Program
PolioPlus is the volunteer arm of the global partnership dedicated to eradicating polio. Decades ago, polio outbreaks were a constant threat around the world. After the introduction of polio vaccines by Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin and a steadfast immunization effort, these outbreaks became part of history in most of the world. Click here to learn more.

Contribute to stopping polio.  Your contribution will help Rotary match a US$100 million challenge grant from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

Rotaplast
Started by the Rotary Club of San Francisco to help children with birth defects or who have been disabled by accidents.  Rotaplast performs reconstructive surgeries internationally to change and improve the lives of poor children who otherwise would have to endure a lifetime of burn scars, gaping cleft lips, cleft palates and other genetic defects.

Our club regularly sends physicians and assistants on a two week mission tour. We also help raise funds and act as the liaison between the Rotaplast organization and other Rotary clubs on Peninsula.
